I came across this fabulous blog that features real wedding inspiration for every couple while perusing a collaborate writers’ group on Facebook recently. A Bicycle Built For Two is such an incredibly refreshing, inclusive corner of the internet that shared gorgeous pictures and inspirational love stories from two people who love each other that hail from every corner of the world.
After we connected, the gorgeous women who work so hard on this site asked if they could feature our wedding, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to share the photos and details of our perfect day. You can find their feature of our wedding here.
Be sure to browse around at the gorgeous weddings on A Bicycle Built For Two, and if you need a place to start, check out one of my favorites: Tracy and Danielle.
Time, they are a-changing, and now more importantly than ever, marginalized communities need to see themselves represented, particularly in celebration of their love for one another. We finally have the right get married anywhere in this country, so let’s yell it from the roof tops and make sure everyone knows how beautiful out love is. Even in 2017, it’s difficult to find wedding help and inspiration from a place that doesn’t cater itself to a traditional bride and groom, so safe spaces like A Bicycle Built For Two are so incredibly precious.
Planning a wedding can be hard. Planning a wedding as a same sex couple can feel like you’re on an island alone, but you’re not. Take a look at these stunning weddings and remember that your marriage is unique, so your wedding should be too. Love wins, and weddings are for everyone, fam :).
