About Me

The Babbler:

4-5

Hello lovelies! My name is Beth, and I’m so grateful you have either accidentally stumbled or purposely visited this little passion project of mine. I’ve wanted to be able to express my everyday thoughts , feelings, and experiences in hopes that I can either help or be helped by anyone out there who can relate. I rattled on a bit about my own personal journey and recent transitions that inspired me to start this blog here. I was inspired to actually take the leap when I read the eBook by Abby Lawson from Just a Girl and Her Blog called Building a Framework: The Ultimate Blogging HandbookIt’s a must have resource for anyone hoping to start a blog and potentially earn an income in the future.

As a new member who dove head first into the LGBTQIA+ community, I’ve been largely learning as I go, as most people began this journey and built a support system of like-minded people years ago. I have an amazing support system and my “real world” family and friends, but would love to build a community of those who would like to share or even just mentally bond by reading about my milestones and mistakes.

On this blog I’ll be sharing a plethora of babbles and some reviews and discussions about my favorite things. Here’s a quick breakdown of what some of those are:

My Family

I’m recently engaged, and I happen to have been lucky enough to inherit a package deal. My fiance and her daughter are hands down the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I became an instant stepmom (to be) of  a precious, spunky, independent toddler named Mia. She lights up my life.

Movies and TV

I love to write. I love to watch things. Therefore, a couple years ago I accepted an opportunity to do both of those things my joining a film discussion site with my good friend from college. You can find all of my posts over at Audiences Everywhere.

Books

As a graduated English major and an MFA hopeful, the written word is my ultimate hobby. I’m a voracious reader, and if I had the creativity or patience, there would be a novel in the works. But in the meantime, I’ll settle for gobbling up every story I can find and writing about my favorite ones here.

Fashion

Over the years we all slowly identify and hone our own personal style, and people are finally beginning to realize that we shouldn’t be limited by the fashion options that fall solely into our designated gender. I love to experiment with gender bending fashion styles and think self expression through clothing and accessories is an important creative outlet and statement of individuality.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you stay awhile and choose to come back again soon!
